Lucky Friday Artist

    I'm an artist based in Cape Town, South Africa. With my art, I'm using the computer as a tool and often ask myself, If Picasso or Andy Warhol were to use a computer in their art, what would they create?

    I produce original abstract landscapes with acrylic paint, sprayed stencils and mixed media and use my graphic design knowledge in printing to produce unique pieces of work on aluminium, perspex or canvas.

    Welcome to my world of original art. A place where I like to get my hands dirty in the studio and try to be creative as possible with different mediums from acrylic, spray painted canvases to palette knife oils. While I love creating Digital Art and limited edition prints, this allows me to explore infinite possibilities. I really enjoy painting seascapes and trying my best to bring the power of the ocean into my paintings.

    A collection of artworks, stripped of their color. Abstract Seascapes based on my obsession with a Black Rock that sits precariously in the ocean on top of a tiny rock. How it hasn't toppled over, I wonder? Here I wanted to express the power of the ocean in these paintings and fine-art-prints.

    A.I. ART AND IT'S IMPACT ON THE ART WORLD

    In this collection, I'm looking at how Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) art is evolving and it's impact on the art world. At times, this can be very confusing to people. This is my exploration into trying to understand the impact and whether artists can benefit from this new technology, I personally think we can and have been exploring the use of A.I. in my artwork.
